About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a temporary full-time assignment in Lake Orion, MI, with PRN flexibility also available. The role is based in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting, with a start date as soon as possible. You will join an experienced rehabilitation team and have the opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence
• Follow individualized treatment plans and document patient progress
• Work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

Requirements

• Michigan PTA license required
