Physical Therapist Assistant (Pta) Prn Variable Shifts
About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is responsible for administering physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician. This position requires participation in developing treatment programs for therapy patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
- Participate in developing treatment programs for therapy patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Associates Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant school.
- Maintains a current New Mexico State PTA License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.
