About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN position offers an opportunity to support patients in their recovery journey under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, patient education, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities
- Aid in patient assessments and treatment planning
- Execute therapeutic exercises and activities
- Provide patient education on home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Current PTA license in state of practice
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
