About the role

We are hiring PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) with a flexible schedule to suit your lifestyle. The PTA will join PAM Health’s team, providing care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. PAM Health operates over 80 hospital locations and employs more than 11,000 people nationwide. The PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist, delivering direct patient care, planning and implementing individualized treatment programs, and contributing to the development of services across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in inpatient hospital settings.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health practices.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the further development and improvement of PT services.
• Adapt to the needs of the system by working in various facilities as required.

Requirements

• Current PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of clinical experience preferred (inpatient hospital experience is a plus).
