Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA - part time

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for rehabilitation and patient care.

Skills

• Proficient in using rehabilitation equipment and techniques.
• Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
