Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - FT Days | Clear Lake South Rehab

The Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to our diverse patient population at PAM Health. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with established protocols
• Participate in the further development of physical therapy services
• Work in multiple settings within the PAM Health System

Requirements

• PAT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification
• One year of clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record keeping

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
