Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time Days | Clear Lake South Rehab

The Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to our diverse patient population at PAM Health. The ideal candidate should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assess patients' physical condition and progress, and document findings in the medical record
• Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately and timely
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of physical therapy services

Requirements

• PAT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience preferred

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
