Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct patient assessments under the supervision of a physical therapist
• Implement treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, to promote patient progress
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of New York
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
