Summary Provides therapeutic physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed therapist, following a written plan of care to achieve established goals. Participates in discharge planning, including patient and family education, follow-up, and community resource referrals. Contributes to healthcare delivery improvements and assists in staff and student development by assessing workload and supporting team growth. Performs treatment, documents findings, and communicates progress in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and departmental policies. May supervise clinical students, assistants, technicians, and volunteers, fostering a caring environment that promotes health and healing. Qualifications Include Entry-level experience preferred Basic computer literacy skills Valid PTA licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire Additional responsibilities involve completing assigned goals, participating in team activities, and ensuring quality patient care.
