Physical Therapist Assistant PRN
About the role
The PRN Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity covers the greater Evansville area. This position assists in providing skilled care under the supervision of the registered physical therapist, and can provide services in various ASC Therapies & Wellness Settings including home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient therapies.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy to patients outlined in the OT’s plan of care
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with members for discharge plans
- Contribute to case management
- Maintain positive level of interaction with patients and center staff
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Indiana
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
