About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide coverage at the Bon Air outpatient center for neurological and orthopedic conditions, delivering quality, comprehensive, patient‑centered physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
Responsibilities
- Administer treatment plans as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
- Document patient progress and communicate updates with team members.
- Supervise non‑licensed personnel.
- Instruct therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patients and/or caregivers.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant educational program (required).
- Virginia licensure to practice, or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions (required).
- Healthcare professionals CPR certification (required).
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation (preferred).
Compensation
$26.00 – $44.00 per hour. This range reflects a commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
