Physical Therapist Assistant-Neuro-PRN

About the role

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is a dynamic company dedicated to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation in Bluffton, SC, and surrounding areas. We are seeking experienced Physical Therapist Assistants to join our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs
• Treatment of neurologically related physical disorders
• Create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities
• Build skills in patients' own homes and communities
• Work one-on-one with patients
• Accept patients from severe brain injury to job readiness

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required, Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred
• Must be certified in the state of California
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, how to use the physical therapy equipment, and OSHA and infection control regulations required
• Experience in the treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred
• Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
• A valid driver's license is required
