Physical Therapist Assistant (Full Time, PRN)

About the role

The Spring River Inn is seeking a Full-Time and PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their in-house rehabilitation team in Roswell, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses in compliance with regulations

Qualifications

• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Knowledge of current therapy practices
• Experience with Net Health or similar EMR systems preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Licensure Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of New Mexico
• Licence must be active and in good standing
