Physical Therapist Assistant-Bilingual

Responsibilities

• Aid in the facilitation of rehabilitation for patients with emotional, physical, or mental disabilities.
• Implement physical therapy care plans as directed.
• Coordinate care with the home healthcare team.
• Provide education to patients and family members about their health conditions.
• Prepare timely, complete, and accurate clinical notes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, office support, and other care team members.

Qualifications

• Assistant Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Bilingual (fluent in Spanish) preferred.
• Home health experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance.
• Experience with HCHB EMR (preferred but not required).
• Able to handle physical workload.
• Good driving record.
• Excellent communication and people skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
