About the role

The SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital-Oklahoma City is a joint venture with Select Medical, dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.
• Delegates and directs supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.
• Communicates with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify the need for assessment and reassessment, modification of treatment plans, and other interventions requiring therapist direction.
• Participates in educating patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care within the scope of practice.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion of BLS within the first 90 days of employment required.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have one or more years of experience.
