About the role
We are Regency Omak Rehabilitation & Nursing, specializing in skilled nursing and long-term care services. We treat each of our residents with individualized compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assumes clinical responsibility in an assigned facility.
- Direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Performs administrative duties as assigned.
- Follows the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Observes, records, and reports to the supervising PT, the supervising nurse, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
- Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy in which they can participate to assist the patient.
- Visits patient according to Plan of Treatment; complete a daily note for each visit.
- Participates in developing the Plan of Treatment as needed with communication with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Adheres to Therapy Standards of Practice in the provision of services to all patients.
- Reports to the Physical Therapist information relating to the patient’s progress, complication, and /or response to treatment.
- Aid the Physical Therapist in performing procedures, tests, and complex treatment to ensure the safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients.
Requirements
- Currently possess a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Possess, prior to, onboarding and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in assigned State.
- Must be able to take direction from registered therapists and other team members to promote patient treatment and safety.
- Must be able to work independently with periodic (daily or less) support and direction.
Qualifications

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Physical Therapy Assistant Certification.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
