Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

The PTA will work directly with patients to teach them different functional tasks and exercises intended to strengthen or stretch muscles, as well as alleviate pain.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy to patients in an out-patient setting
• Follow individualized care plans for each treatment
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize care
• Grow relationships with your staff and the community you support
• Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection
• Comply with all federal, state, and insurance-based rules and regulations

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school for Physical Therapist Assistants
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the State

• Commitment to providing expert care in the areas of orthopedic and sports injuries, in a caring and compassionate manner with superior patient outcomes

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection
