About the role
The PTA will work directly with patients to teach them different functional tasks and exercises intended to strengthen or stretch muscles, as well as alleviate pain.
Responsibilities
- Provide Physical Therapy to patients in an out-patient setting
- Follow individualized care plans for each treatment
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize care
- Grow relationships with your staff and the community you support
- Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection
- Comply with all federal, state, and insurance-based rules and regulations
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school for Physical Therapist Assistants
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the State
Qualifications
- Commitment to providing expert care in the areas of orthopedic and sports injuries, in a caring and compassionate manner with superior patient outcomes
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection
