Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Millennium Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Fort Dodge, IA for their outpatient setting. They are a patient-focused, therapist-owned, and managed company offering Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy across Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the provision of screens and collection of assessment data.
• Directly treats caseload under supervision.
• Conducts resident screens without interpretation as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Participates in the clinical team process.
• Teaches and trains caregiver staff.
• Develops clinical programs.
• Collects assessment data as part of the evaluation process.
• Trains patients, residents, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care.
• Prepares treatment materials and assists with other clerical duties.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA accredited program.
• Professional Licensure in the state of hire or eligibility for licensure in states that regulate PTA.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Pay

Pay is negotiable and a sign-on bonus is available for full-time hours between 30-40 hours per week.
