Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

We are a family-owned outpatient physical therapy clinic with 2 physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant currently on staff. We are seeking a compassionate physical therapist assistant who is a team player and ready to use manual therapy skills to treat patients.

Responsibilities

- The majority of the patient population is orthopedic in nature with post-op being common (shoulder/knee/hip/spine). - There is a small percentage of neurological conditions, most commonly being stroke. - Vestibular conditions are rare but this experience is preferred but not required. - The therapist will provide direct treatment to patients (including manual therapy), complete progress notes and daily notes, and delegate exercises/duties to the rehab tech. - The therapist will enter patient records, assessments, and daily therapy notes into the clinic's EMR (Jane App). - The therapist will also help with social media content creation as time allows. - Patients are scheduled one every hour or every 45 minutes.
