About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work in the Lorain, OH area for a top Rehabilitation company. This is a full-time, long-term position with great benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical function
- Document patient progress and treatment plans
- Work with all age groups
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a PTA in the state of Ohio
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to work with all age groups
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current licensure as a PTA in the state of Ohio
- Experience working with patients of all ages
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
