Qualifications

- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field. - Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and medical terminology. - Experience in geriatrics or pediatrics is a plus but not required. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. - Provide direct patient care, including exercises and therapeutic activities. - Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist. - Educate patients and their families on care plans and home exercises. - Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes. - Support patients in skilled nursing facilities or home health settings as required.

Pay

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
