Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Communicate with patients about their treatment and document patient conditions and responses in charts after each visit.
• Interact with Physical Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff to ensure continuous communication.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

• Physical stamina and flexibility to perform physical therapy tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
