Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide compassionate, personalized care in the home setting. They will evaluate and treat disabilities, injuries, and diseases using a range of manual therapy, modalities, and exercises. The Physical Therapist Assistant will supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and support personnel, complete documentation related to patient care, participate in educational in-services, collaborate with healthcare teams, and coordinate patient-related care activities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients referred by providers
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and support personnel
- Complete documentation related to patient care in a timely manner
- Participate in and provide educational in-services for staff and providers
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide professional recommendations regarding patient care
- Participate in patient-related care coordination activities (such as care conferences)
Requirements
- Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate, Masters or Doctorate program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization
- Licensed to practice as a physical therapist within the State of ND
- Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
- Current MN Driver’s license
Preferred
- Community/home health experience

Pay
The posted compensation range of $23.05 - $32.56 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
