About the role
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care services to patients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and light housekeeping.Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Monitor patients' health and report changes to supervising nurses
- Manage medications according to prescribed schedules
- Perform light cleaning and organization tasks in patient homes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience in home health care or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
