About the role

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Physical Therapist Assistant position. This role is part of an in-house program within a welcoming, slower-paced community environment that delivers holistic care with a strong focus on prevention.

Responsibilities

  • Provides treatment services to residents and assists the Physical Therapist in treatment and program development.
  • Performs physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been delegated by the Physical Therapist, in accordance with the plan of treatment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant training program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred).
