Physical Therapist Assistant

Avant Rehab & Care Center is searching for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of health professionals in providing excellent health care in our facility. PRN positions are also available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating residents and developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
• Assist in activities that help residents carry out their daily work independently.
• Assist in monitoring residents as they carry out assigned tasks.
• Assist in rehabilitating residents who have been disabled due to injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams and contribute to the team effort.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey PTA License.
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
