Physical Therapist - Acute - (PT - Acute)
About the Role
We are partnering with a well-respected hospital system that is looking for a highly motivated and passionate clinician for a 13-week contract position. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment and work in a fast-paced acute care setting. This is an immediate need, and the client is actively interviewing for full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services in an acute care setting.
- Support patient rehabilitation and recovery in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience.
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license (Compact accepted).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- No more than a 90-day gap in work history within the last year.
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
Location
The facility is located in Sylva, nestled in the Plott Balsam Mountains, offering some of North Carolina's most beautiful scenery. Residents enjoy hiking, camping, and easy access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Sylva’s downtown features historic architecture, and Poteet Park provides family-friendly recreation options like volleyball, basketball, and picnicking.
Pay
Pay rate: $2,096.00 - $2,160.00 per week for 8-day shifts.
