Physical Therapist - Acute Care, Float

Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on operational needs.

About the role

Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and University Hospital in acute care settings. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. Work within the context of patient- and family-centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
• 2 years of prior relevant experience Preferred
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required
