About the Role

The Physical Therapist II provides a full range of physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The successful candidate will work at the new Acute Rehab Hospital in Irvine, a joint UCI Health / LifePoint venture.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning
• Float between UCI Health locations as needed
• Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Travel to clinics and other campus offices as determined by patient and scheduling needs
• If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, obtain CCS paneling/approval within one year of hire if qualified

Requirements

• Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Physical Therapy
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed physical therapist
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic Life Support certification
