About the role
Conducts medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
- Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
- Documents treatment interventions given.
- May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
Requirements
- LIC BLS Provider Required: Y
- LIC Rehab Therapist Required: Y
- Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and skills
- Ability to document treatment interventions
- Ability to coordinate with support personnel
