Physical Security Specialist

About the role

Parsons is looking for a Physical Security Specialist (PhySS) to design and maintain security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and ensure compliance with federal standards. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, delivering resources to US government customers in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
• Certify compliance with federal standards (e.g., ICD 705) for physical security, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify SCIF integrity.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address security vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training on SCIF protocols and manage documentation for accreditation and compliance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance (required).
• High school diploma and 3+ years of experience in physical security, SCIF management, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of federal standards such as ICD 705 for physical security and access control.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and implement corrective actions effectively.

Pay

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
