About the role
Physical Security Officer/Access Control responsible for managing data center access and maintaining security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Input security badge updates in the local badging system as each user request is approved by the local data center access control process.
- Conduct data entry to grant access to all approved data center access requests.
- Adhere to site-specific practices and processes for data center access control.
- Maintain an audit log for all granted accesses to the data center.
- Compare audit logs against electronic badge system logs for completeness and anomaly resolution.
- Serve as the point of contact (POC) for data center access control during normal business hours.
- Approve access to data centers according to published guidance.
- Assist in the development and coordination of Data Center access training.
- Coordinate confirmation of data center management and access training.
- Report any failures to follow procedures or unauthorized access to the DCMT.
- Collect and report site data center metrics, including tracking of visitors and approval/denial of entrance.
- Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manuals/guides for data center access management.
- Assist other team members in various data center management tasks as determined by the program site lead.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance (must currently possess).
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Ability to work within a customer-oriented environment and provide quality service.
- Ability to participate productively as a contributing team member.
- Strong communication skills, adaptable to various styles and audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of initiative and commitment to completing assignments timely.

- Experience with Intelligence Community badging systems.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $61,402 - $72,450. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
