About the role

  • Engineer physical security systems in the reference design: access control, video, intrusion, and perimeter detail by detail.
  • Produce the design packages: drawings, device schedules, and specs the integrators build from.
  • Integrate the systems: security platforms tied into site networks, monitoring, and identity.
  • Support deployment: site surveys, punch walks, and acceptance testing on your own designs.

Responsibilities

  • Design or engineer physical security systems for commercial or critical facilities.
  • Produce buildable packages: riser diagrams, device layouts, and schedules.
  • Configure and test access control and VMS platforms hands-on.
  • Coordinate with electrical and IT design instead of clashing with it.
  • Support installs and close the punch yourself.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing or engineering physical security systems for commercial or critical facilities.
  • Ability to produce buildable packages: riser diagrams, device layouts, and schedules.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and testing access control and VMS platforms.
  • Experience coordinating with electrical and IT design teams.
  • Experience supporting installs and closing punch lists.

Skills

  • Bonus: Lenel, Genetec, or equivalent platforms.
  • Knowledge of data center security standards.
  • Network fundamentals.
  • CAD or Revit fluency.

Pay

Compensation range: $229K - $271K
