About the role
A 1.0 FTE physical science teaching position is available at Robbinsdale Cooper High School. The ideal candidate must hold a current Minnesota teaching license appropriate for teaching physical and life sciences.
Responsibilities
- Teach physical and life sciences to high school students
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Mentor and support students' academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instruction
Requirements
- Current Minnesota teaching license for physical and life sciences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Pass a criminal background check
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physical or life sciences
- Experience teaching physical or life sciences at the high school level
- Knowledge of current educational methodologies and technology
