Job Responsibilities

• Evaluates student performance and provides timely, meaningful feedback.
• Develops, reviews, and revises curriculum, syllabi, and instructional materials.
• Utilizes a variety of teaching methods and instructional technologies to enhance student learning.
• Maintains regular office hours.
• Provides academic advising and supports student development, recruitment, and retention efforts.
• Participates in curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributes to college and community service through committees or outreach activities.
• Pursues ongoing professional development.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• A master’s degree in Physical Sciences is required, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Physical Sciences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience teaching in multiple instructional formats, including online or hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in instructional technologies and a willingness to adapt to evolving educational tools.
• Ability to teach flexible schedules and at multiple campus locations.
• A commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practices, student success initiatives, and professional development.
