Physical Plant Director - Canyon Creek

About the role

We are seeking an knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maintenance Director to join our Physical Plant Department at Canyon Creek Memory Care. This is a full-time leadership opportunity with day shift hours from 7 AM to 4 PM, with holidays and weekends as needed. Walk‑in interviews are held weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Complete small and large maintenance tasks on the community premises.
• Direct, coordinate, and complete physical plant services to maintain the building and grounds.
• Routinely inspect the physical plant and provide preventative maintenance within acceptable standards.
• Coordinate, direct, and document required fire drills and fire drill training.
• Establish and maintain a schedule of service for equipment and systems.
• Maintain outside yard care, whether performed by facility staff or contract service.
• Maintain facility to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Perform painting inside and outside.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and maintenance assistant (if applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Possess diagnostic and mechanical skills and abilities necessary for accomplishing repairs
