Physical/Occupational Therapy Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services, overseeing clinical care for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develops treatment plans, assesses patient needs, and updates interventions based on evaluations.
• Supervises therapy staff, mentors students, and promotes evidence‑based practices.
• Ensures documentation accuracy, manages staffing and departmental budgets, and maintains quality improvement and safety policies.
• Communicates effectively across interdisciplinary teams, handles conflicts, and fosters collaborative relationships.
• Participates in departmental development, training, and infection control initiatives.
• Assists with discharge planning and recommends adaptive equipment to maximize patient function.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist
• Preferred: 5+ years clinical experience
