About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. This part-time, in-person position involves reviewing medical records, performing comprehensive evaluations, and completing VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via a secure online portal.

Responsibilities

• Analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct thorough, non-treating assessments to document health conditions.
• Complete and submit detailed DBQs within 24 hours of assessments.
• Assess up to four veterans daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Licensed MD or DO with specialization in PM&R; board certification or residency in relevant fields preferred.
• Proficient in data analysis, digital documentation, and managing assessments efficiently.
• Motivated to support veterans through objective evaluations.
• Strong attention to detail and typing skills.
