Physical Education Teacher

About the role

The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing an engaging curriculum that promotes physical activity and sportsmanship among students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program aligned with state standards.
• Plan and conduct daily physical education classes for students in grades K-5.
• Encourage and support students in developing healthy habits and lifelong physical activity.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate physical education into the school day.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field.
• Valid Maine teaching certificate in physical education.
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff.

Qualifications
