In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement structured lesson plans
  • Build a therapeutic rapport with students
  • Work collaboratively with the Special Education team
  • Attend meetings with family members, collateral, and other teams
  • Help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued
  • Support students in developing a sense of self and providing them the skills to be successful in their next steps

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in relevant content area
  • Massachusetts PE Teaching License
  • Relevant experience with grades 5-12 preferred

Qualifications

  • Passionate about teaching and working with adolescents
  • Experience with trauma-informed care
  • Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations

Pay

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $94,000 per year. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with generous paid time off.
