Requirements

• State of Illinois Professional Educator License & Health Certificate
• Solid knowledge of assessment in physical education & health
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a collegial, team environment
• Knowledgeable about best practices in physical education & health instruction
• Ability to enhance the wellness of a diverse group of students
• Knowledge of effective instruction strategies for sports-focused/fitness-focused classes
• Knowledge of adaptive physical education principles and tenets
• Desire to pursue professional growth, develop new methodologies, and incorporate technology
• Interest in accepting co-curricular or coaching positions
