About the role
The Red Bank Catholic High School seeks a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Education Teacher to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and effective instruction to promote physical fitness, wellness and healthy lifestyles among students
- Fostering a positive learning environment
- Supporting students in their physical and mental development
- Designing lesson plans
- Teaching a variety of physical activities and sports
- Absessing student progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance curriculum development
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A desire to create cutting edge interdisciplinary units
- Knowledge of physical fitness and wellness
- Highly motivated in coaching and athletics
- Either high school or middle school teaching experience
- A valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Health and Physical Education and Driver Education Certification preferred
Qualifications
- Salary range: $40,000 to $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
