About the role
The Principal Component-based Radiative Transfer Model (PCRTM) group at NASA Langley Research Center seeks exceptional candidates to contribute to the development of AI-enhanced radiative transfer modeling, AI-based retrieval algorithm development, and novel applications of PCRTM retrieval products.
Responsibilities
- Further improve the computational speed of the PCRTM using advanced artificial intelligence techniques.
- Develop next-generation AI-based retrieval algorithms leveraging PCRTM's proven track record.
- Leverage existing PCRTM retrieval products and real satellite data to develop additional products for diverse applications.
Requirements
- Ph D. in physical science such as atmospheric science, physics, and computer science.
- Experience in analyzing satellite data and geospatial data are desired.
- Skills in AI, machine learning, deep learning, keras, Pytorch are preferred.
Qualifications
- A proven track record of scientific publications and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with others are highly desired.
