About the role
The post-doctoral fellow will apply machine learning and/or other data science techniques to conduct scientific research, improve remote sensing data products and analysis, integrate machine learning with physics-based models, and/or improve processing of remotely-sensed Earth Science data. The fellow will be a part of the NASA Earth eXchange (NEX).

Requirements
- Doctoral Degree
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizens; U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR); Foreign Nationals eligible for an Exchange Visitor J-1 visa status; Applicants for LPR, asylees, or refugees in the U.S. at the time of application with 1) a valid EAD card and 2) I-485 or I-589 forms in pending status
Qualifications

- Knowledge of remote sensing data products and analysis
- Experience integrating machine learning with physics-based models
- Experience improving processing of remotely-sensed Earth Science data
