Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

We are seeking a compassionate PM&R Physician (Physiatrist) to join a patient-centered team. Responsibilities include: evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities; developing individualized treatment plans to restore function; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams such as physical and occupational therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and neurologists; providing non-surgical pain management and rehabilitation services; performing pain interventions like epidural steroid injections, RFA, nerve blocks; conducting EMGs, joint and trigger point injections, and ultrasound-guided procedures; educating patients and families on care plans and lifestyle modifications; maintaining accurate documentation using EHR; and participating in quality improvement and team meetings. Qualifications: MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; fellowship training in Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine, or related fields; board certification or eligibility in PM&R; valid medical license and DEA certification in Alaska. Preferred Skills: additional fellowship in Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine, or Spinal Cord Injury; experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound and fluoroscopic procedures; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; effective team collaboration.
