Physiatrist (PM&R)

About the role

Institutes of Health (IOH) is a leader in behavioral medicine, medical psychology, neurology, and chronic pain rehabilitation services. As we expand into the Los Angeles market, we are seeking a Physiatrist (PM&R) to join our multidisciplinary team and support patients experiencing Chronic Pain, functional impairments, traumatic brain injuries, and occupational conditions. As a Physiatrist with IOH, you will provide non-surgical, outpatient care focused on: Functional recovery and rehabilitation; Chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions; Occupational and work-related injuries. You will collaborate with psychology, neurology, pain management, and rehabilitation services to deliver comprehensive, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with functional limitations and chronic pain conditions
• Develop and oversee rehabilitation-focused treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Document clinical findings aligned with Workers’ Compensation guidelines
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment to optimize functional outcomes
