Physiatrist Independent Contractor
About the Role
Concentra is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist as a 1099 independent contractor to work on-site at one of our locations. This contract position is designed to complement your current practice, involving approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
As part of Concentra Advanced Specialists, you will assist in managing medically complex patients, expedite return-to-work programs, and support functional restoration. You will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to deliver specialist services, which may include EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Additionally, you will communicate with employers and play an active role in case management.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist services, including EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries.
- Collaborate with medical and therapy providers to manage medically complex patients.
- Expedite return-to-work and functional restoration programs.
- Communicate with employers and participate in case management.
- Work on-site for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly with flexible scheduling to accommodate your private practice.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries.
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance that covers you while on-site.
Pay
Compensation for services is determined by a revenue share model.
