Physiatrist Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

• Treat patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.
• Assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work and functional restoration.
• Work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to provide specialist services including EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries.
• Communicate with employers and take an active role in the case management.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries.
• Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Board certification or board eligibility in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site.
