Job Summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a full-time AMFT/ASW Therapist for their expanding Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

Qualifications

  • Active intern or license number registered with the Board of Behavioral Services (BBS) or the Board of Psychology
  • LMSW, LCSW, LAC, or LPC license required
  • A Level One Fingerprint Card is required
  • Preferably two years of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, terminology, and medical record charting
  • Strong group facilitation skills and experience
  • Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card
  • Ability to complete de-escalation training within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Facilitate group treatment modalities within the program's scope of practice
  • Conduct initial assessments of new patients and develop initial treatment plans
  • Develop comprehensive master treatment plans using assessment data and input from the treatment team
  • Accurately document progress notes within 24 hours of service or by the next business day, referencing identified problems on treatment plans
  • Document incidents or unusual occurrences promptly
  • Complete discharge summaries for assigned patients in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate competency in working with adult patients (ages 18+), including completion of psychosocial assessments according to established guidelines
  • Assess the needs of adult patients and provide interventions to facilitate progression to the next stage of treatment

Benefits

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices.

Pay

The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

Shift Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
