Photomask Data Preparation/System Administration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver a modern, efficient, and stable IT workplace for internal users and external users.
• Project management, architecture design, implementation, and operations in one or more of the following areas:
• Linux system management and sustain smooth operation of mask data preparation environment
• New IT architecture design and project management
• Implement and maintain corporate IT security enhancement activities (IP management, AWL, ACL, Gatekeeper, etc.)
• Windows, Database (e.g., Oracle, DB2), VMWare and Docker/K8S server management
• Operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in the Mask Data Preparation field that includes:
• Tape-out operation
• Mask data operation and verification
• MASK patterns conversion and OPC handling
• Collaborate with TSMC internal fabs and departments for engineering tasks and new business flow setup.
• Closely work and communicate with EBO engineers cross time zones in Arizona and Taiwan.

Requirements

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor degree with majors in IT-related fields (Computer Science, Information Engineering, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Experience in Linux / Windows / Network / VMware / Docker / K8S system management is preferred.
• Certificate in RHCSA / RHCE / CCNA / VCP is a plus.
• Ability to design and execute experiments and interpret complex data.
• Understanding and application of statistical process control methods.
• Ability to systematically troubleshoot issues.
• Interpersonal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills to work on cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. Ability to adapt priorities and responsibilities to support business needs. A team player who can multitask and thrive in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment.
